ScholarRx Welcomes Professor Ronald Harden to the Academic Advisory Board

ScholarRx is excited to announce that Professor Ronald Harden has joined the ScholarRx Academic Advisory Board, which Dr. Charles Prober of Stanford University chairs. This appointment brings one of the world’s most respected figures in medical education to our team, further strengthening our commitment to innovation and excellence in health professions education.

Professor Harden’s illustrious career spans decades and is marked by groundbreaking contributions that have revolutionized medical education worldwide. His work has set new standards and inspired generations of educators and learners. Notably, he pioneered the Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE), a globally adopted method for assessing clinical competency in medical students. Dr. Harden has championed the development of medical curricula that are Student-centered, Problem-based, Integrated, Community-based, Elective-rich, and Systematic (SPICES).

Professor Harden has received numerous accolades throughout his career, including the prestigious Karolinska Prize for Research in Medical Education. Serving as editor-in-chief of Medical Teacher, General Secretary, and Treasurer of the Association for Medical Education in Europe (AMEE), he has been a driving force in the global community. His prolific output includes authoring or co-authoring over 400 publications that continue to shape the field.
