ScholarRx Statement on Violence Against Asian, Asian-American and Pacific Islander People

Today, we express our support and solidarity with all members of the Asian, Asian-American, and Pacific Islander communities following recent terrible acts of violence against Asian, Black, Indigenous, and all people of color across our nation. We condemn these acts of violence, including the brutal killings of eight people in Atlanta on March 16. Racism and expressions of hate, bias, and discrimination in any form have no place in our world.

We are deeply troubled by these attacks and by any violence based on race, ethnicity, or gender. These acts are unconscionable and run counter to our mission of building a healthier world through accessibility and equity. We support diverse and inclusive communities in which we respect and affirm our differences and denounce violence.
